This count comes out of the Global Footprint research project, an ongoing effort to document where the Pentecostal Church of God is present, where it has planted fruit, and where it stands in active fellowship. Each record on the map carries its source and its confidence state. Older PCG office statistics are kept as historical evidence and comparison. When stronger current research arrives, the record is corrected in the open.

PCG Global Missions walks in cooperative fellowship with national churches and partner movements. The Global Footprint is the researched record of that shared life: where the church is present, where fruit has been planted, and where fellowship is active. These churches and movements are covenant partners in one mission. They are not branch offices under the control of an office in the United States. Older department totals stay in the year they were published and do not replace this record.
